Pacific Pride Foundation is home to a dynamic range of services and activities that supports the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Questioning (LGBTQ+) individuals of every race, gender, age, sexuality, religion and socio-economic status in Santa Barbara County and the Central Coast. Since 1975, Pacific Pride has been the local expert on issues relating to the LGBTQ+ community, and supports activities that foster a positive sense of identity, purpose, social supports and well being among people and organizations in addition to promoting activities that further define and advance the political, social and cultural agenda of the LGBTQ+ community.

Goals of Pacific Pride Foundation for the LGBTQ+ Community:

  • Pacific Pride strives to be a place in Santa Barbara where all LGBTQ+ people can feel welcome regardless of age, race, gender, and socio-economic status.
  • Pacific Pride strives to attract and produce events and activities of interest to all members of the LGBTQ+ community.
  • Pacific Pride supports activities that increase understanding, support and a sense of community among LGBTQ+ people across lines of race, gender, age, religion and socio-economic status.
  • Pacific Pride is home to a dynamic range of services and activities that support individual LGBTQ+ people in their efforts to achieve a positive sense of identity, purpose, social support and well being.
  • Pacific Pride nurtures new and existing organizations that seek to meet the needs of LGBTQ+ people.
  • Pacific Pride supports activities that seek to further define and advance the political, social and cultural agenda of the LGBT community.
