A Lifeline for Trans Joy, Dignity, and Care
Every day, transgender and nonbinary people across Santa Barbara and California’s Central Coast face barriers to accessing the most essential resources that affirm who they are — from binders and packers to wigs, menstrual care, voice training tools, and post-op comfort supplies. These items are not luxuries. They are life-affirming necessities that support safety, wellbeing, and authenticity.
For many in our community, these resources remain out of reach due to financial hardship, healthcare inequities, and lack of access to affirming providers. When someone cannot afford the tools that help them feel at home in their body, the impact is profound — affecting confidence, mental health, physical safety, and sense of belonging.
The Trans Care Fund exists to change that.
