Pacific Pride Foundation’s goal is to create change and impact within our community; we firmly believe that improvement starts from inside. Community members have the power to take action and be the change they want to see. That is why volunteers are the heart and soul of our organization.

We’re looking for you!

Our organization welcomes anyone who is interested in acting towards improvement and change for the community we all share. We are currently looking for volunteers all around Santa Barbara County. We offer several volunteer opportunities in Santa Barbara, Isla Vista, Lompoc, and Santa Maria. Help us help our community here in Santa Barbara County.

Volunteers Needed for the 2026 Pacific Pride Festival!

The Pacific Pride Festival returns in August 2026 — and while the exact date is still to be announced, we already know it’s going to be one of the biggest and most exciting celebrations on the Central Coast! And we need YOU to help make it all happen.

By volunteering at this free, all-ages Pride at the Beach event, you’re helping us build a vibrant, visible, and thriving LGBTQ+ community for all. Whether it’s your first time or you’ve volunteered before, this is your chance to be part of something unforgettable.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

Festival setup & attendee check-in
Stage management & performer support
Greeting and guiding festival-goers
Selling merchandise & raffle tickets
Assisting with youth & family areas
Clean-up crew & more!

Syringe Exchange Event Volunteer

The Health and Prevention team is looking for volunteers in Santa Barbara, Isla Vista, Santa Maria, and Lompoc.
Join our Health and Prevention team at our Syringe Exchange biweekly events. Free of charge needle exchange program that allows our community members to practice health prevention and harm reduction themselves. Help us help them save their lives!

Community Event Outreach Volunteer

Connect, have fun AND help us reach community members by tabling at events in Pride month and all year!

Youth Group and Older Adults Group Volunteer

The PROUD Youth Leadership Program invites LGBTQ+ & Ally Youth to help lead our efforts to share Pacific Pride Foundation life skills-building training.
The Proud Older Adults Program invites LGBTQ+ & Ally older adults to help lead our efforts to connect community members.
