Mental Health Counseling
Addiction Recovery Services

Pacific Pride Foundation’s Addiction Recovery Services are designed for the specific needs of the LGBT community and the issues often faced by LGBT and questioning people. Our services empower you to work with your recovery while living in a culture in which we can feel isolated and misunderstood.

With the co-sponsorship of Santa Barbara County Dept. of Alcohol, Drugs and Mental Health Services, Pacific Pride Foundation offers our clients individual treatment plans which include a range of treatment modalities including “Controlled Use”, “Harm Reduction” and “Abstinence”, depending on the needs, assessment, and desires of each client. Our clients explore their relationship to alcohol and/or drugs in individual, confidential sessions with caring counselors who are experienced and trained in areas specific to the unique pressures faced by LGBTQ people.

All services are provided on a sliding fee scale, based on income and number of dependents. These services are provided to people infected/affected by HIV/AIDS at no charge.

For more information or a brief telephone intake, contact our Director of Counseling & Recovery Programs, Drew Walther at (805) 963-3636 x130.

A Pet of My Own
This beginning chapter book is the fourth in a series of stories about children and their pets. These little books celebrate warm, caring and respectful family relationships. The families happen to have two moms or two dads. They are the very families that Prop 8 wishes to make illegal.

Let’s get these books out there and throw light on these beautiful families!
